Box Speed is a home grown analog film resource for film photographers in Helena Montana and the surrounding area. We believe in the enduring legacy of film for capturing current events, daily life, and family moments. We believe investing in film is investing in community. It is a tangible memory, something that can be stored, passed down, and enjoyed.

Our aim is to eventually have a community darkroom for both development and printing. In order to ensure our services are sustainable, we are starting small, offering a selection of films, color negative development, and scanning services.

We are partnering with Montago Coffee as a pickup/drop-off location for all orders. Products listed on this site are currently only available for in-person pickup at Montago. If you are getting film developed and/or scanned, there is a drop box there as well.
